If you want something to fun and different to do with your family, then this quaint little village is the place to go. The Market Common is home to over 60 retailers from all across the country and includes some local shops and markets, along with a combination of exquisite Italian food, elegant Chinese meals, to hardy American cuisine. 

A local favorite is the Myrtle Beach State Park, which is located near the oceanfront Maritime Forest. This local treasure offers visitors self-surfing lessons as well as an opportunity to expand your knowledge of the outdoors and local animals on a nature trail. For visitors who enjoy an afternoon of tranquil fishing, the Myrtle Beach State Park is home to several fishing holes that are scattered from the beach to the edge of the magnificent forest.

A great attraction near Myrtle Beach is the Family Kingdom Amusement Park, filled with thrill rides, family rides, kiddie rides, and go-carts. For only $27.95, you can have an all-day free pass to the amusement park, which is open daily from 1 pm- 12 am from March 24th, through October 7th.
